Data Deletion Policy

RHP Law, P.C. respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of data we have collected through our website, intake forms, or social media integrations — including those connected to Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and other platforms.
What Data We May Hold
Depending on how you interacted with us, we may hold:
- Contact and intake form submissions (name, email, phone, matter description)
- Email correspondence sent to our firm addresses
- Social media message content from platform messaging features (e.g., Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn InMail)
- Engagement records (comments, reactions) on firm-published social media content
- Client portal access logs (if you were a registered portal user)
How to Request Deletion

Subject line: Data Deletion Request
Please include:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your inquiry or account
- Platform(s) through which you interacted with us (if applicable)
- A brief description of the data you want deleted
What Happens After You Request
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- Processing: We will process and complete your deletion request within 30 days of acknowledgment, unless an exception applies (see below).
- Confirmation: We will send a written confirmation once your data has been deleted from our systems.
Exceptions — Data We May Be Required to Retain
Certain data may be exempt from deletion where retention is required by law or professional obligation, including:
- Records subject to legal hold or pending or threatened litigation
- Data required to be retained under California State Bar records retention rules
- Information necessary to comply with a court order, subpoena, or regulatory requirement
- Billing and financial records required under applicable tax or accounting law
If an exception applies to any portion of your request, we will inform you of the basis and scope of the exception in our response.
Social Media Platform Data
Data held by third-party platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) is subject to those platforms' own data retention and deletion policies. Requesting deletion from RHP Law does not automatically delete data stored by the platform itself. To delete data from those platforms, please use their respective account and data controls:
- Facebook/Meta — Delete Account or Data
- LinkedIn — Close Account or Delete Data
- Instagram — Data Deletion
